KORCZAK ONLINE (2020) was created for theatregoers in the online format. We presented a selection of the most interesting performances and events of recent years, connected to the International Festival of Theatres for Children and Young People KORCZAK TODAY. Together with their creators, we decided to break the geographical limitations and make the programme available to a wider audience, no longer only in Warsaw.
The performances were also accompanied by online activities: workshops, discussions and theatre lessons by Ognisko Online, which enabled young viewers and their caregivers to enter more fully into the world and issues of the play, and provided a kind of summary and space to talk about the performance.
KORCZAK ONLINE was intended as a safe meeting place for all those who love theatre and those who are just getting to know it. We hosted not only young audiences, but also teachers, theatre educators and artists.
